Foreign Press Awards 2026

The Foreign Press Awards are the premier annual celebration of the international correspondents’ community in the United States. Established by the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the USA (AFPC-USA), the Awards bring together leading foreign and American journalists, media executives, public officials, diplomats, academics, institutional leaders, and representatives of the private sector for an evening recognizing the enduring importance of international journalism.

The 2026 Foreign Press Awards will take place on December 3, 2026, in the Ballroom of the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The black-tie gala will begin at 6:00 PM with an exclusive VIP Reception, followed by an elegant four-course dinner and the formal presentation of the Annual Foreign Press Awards.

Held annually in the nation’s capital, the Foreign Press Awards are the signature gathering of the international media community, celebrating journalistic excellence while raising awareness of the essential role international correspondents play in the United States and around the world.
