The Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the USA (AFPC-USA) recognizes US-based foreign journalists who publish abroad in radio, TV, online, print, and online foreign media.
All international journalists working for US-based and international media outlets, accredited as journalists in the United States, are eligible to apply. The awards for excellence come with monetary support.
To be eligible for an award in 2024, international correspondents must submit no more than one piece of professional work published in any format (print, radio, online, broadcast, or print) for an international media outlet in the years 2023 or 2024.
Their published reporting must fall into one of the following categories:
Global Health Care and Covid19
Technology
Environment and Climate Change
Minorities, Inequality, and Discrimination
Business and Economics
International/National Politics
Misinformation
Investigative Reporting
Arts and Entertainment
