Educational Program: How a combination of art and science can build a better world

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM ORGANIZED BY THE ASSOCIATION OF FOREIGN PRESS CORRESPONDENTS (AFPC-USA)

Albert Einstein said that art and science are branches of the same tree. Promoting creative activities is an essential part of people's well-being and of human security for all. The universal language of art is a meaningful and enduring dialogue among people and cultures and a powerful antidote against intolerance, racism and discrimination. Likewise, breakthroughs in science and innovation rely on imagination and creative thought first, before it manifests into a useful or breakthrough science. How can this way of thinking help create a more productive and stable world?
