THE ASSOCIATION OF FOREIGN PRESS CORRESPONDENTS IN THE UNITED STATES

Suzanne Adams served for 21 years as the Executive Director of the “Foreign Press Association of New York” established in 1993. She founded the “FPA Scholarship Fund” and served as the Director. During her tenure she had the pleasure of awarding 80 scholarships to foreign students enrolled at graduate schools of journalism in the United States.

Her husband, Maurice Adams, was a former president of the “Foreign Press Association” and the NY Bureau Chief of the Sydney Morning Herald. The “Foreign Press Association” was dissolved in 1993.

Currently, Suzanne Adams serves as the Honorary Executive Advisor to the boards of the Association of Foreign Correspondents in the United States.
