Alex Raufoglu is an American-Azerbaijani journalist, and press freedom advocate who focuses on Eurasia. He worked extensively in the South Caucasus and Black Sea regions as an investigative reporter and international broadcaster covering democracy, media, and other freedoms, as well as regional peace and security. Since 2008, Raufoglu has lived in Washington D.C., where he represents Azerbaijan's last remaining independent news agency TURAN.
