Judith Matloff was the guest speaker of this exclusive live webinar organized by the Association of Foreign Correspondents (AFC-USA) for foreign journalists and members of the foreign correspondent's community on COVID19, Safety for journalists and beyond. The webinar was also held under the light of her fourth book which is coming up on May 19th: “How to Drag a Body and Other Safety Tips You Hope to Never Need” is a safety manual for every conceivable peri”.
Judith Matloff teaches crisis reporting at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism.
She has pioneered safety training for media around the world, helping hundreds of journalists face an increasingly dangerous world. She worked as a foreign correspondent for many years for Reuters and headed the Africa and Moscow bureaus of The Christian Science Monitor. Her essays about war and violence have appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Los Angeles Times and The Wall Street Journal. Her work has won the support of the MacArthur Foundation, the Fulbright Scholar Program, the Logan Nonfiction Fellowship and the Hoover Institution (Stanford University.)
